Media Manager

Autumn Denham is a social media and video editing whiz who knows her way around the horror genre like the back of her hand. She’s always on the lookout for the next great coming-of-age show to binge-watch, and when she’s not busy creating content, she loves nothing more than hanging out with her friends. Whether they’re playing board games or video games together, they always manage to have a blast. When she’s in the mood for some physical activity, Autumn enjoys hitting the tennis court or going on scenic bike rides. And when she needs a break from it all, she loves spending time with her family and snuggling up with her beloved cats.

What's your favorite local business or entrepreneur that you've worked with, and why?
My favorite local business is Olive Cafe. Chef Tony Mashaal is incredibly passionate about his work and treats everyone like family from the moment they walk through the door. On top of that, his food is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted in the Midwest!
What's your go-to recommendation for a fun, affordable activity or event in the local area that also supports the local economy?
My go-to recommendation for a fun time is Gage Park, where you can visit the Topeka Zoo, explore the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, ride the brand-new mini train, or just enjoy a nice picnic.
How does your role contribute to the organization's efforts to improve the local economy?
As part of my role, I aim to transform not only the external image of Topeka but also the locals’ perception of their city. I strive to create a community that takes pride in its city and supports local businesses and events.

Autumn has a deep appreciation for music, and her love for it shines through in everything she does. As an avid fan of the band Paramore, she was thrilled to catch one of their concerts while studying abroad in Germany. Back in the office, Autumn shares her passion for music by selecting a "song of the day" that everyone can enjoy. She writes it on her dry-erase board, ensuring that everyone starts their day off on the right note.
