In your opinion, what are some of the most important factors in building a strong and sustainable local economy?
Focusing on diversity in all uses of the word. Diversity of industry development, diversity of geographic focus throughout the community and diversity of people in conversations. We can only get better by improving all areas with all perspectives in mind.
What's the most interesting thing you've learned about the local economy since joining the organization?
I joined GO Topeka in 2011 and a lot has changed! I have learned that our community is resilient and passionate. When we come together around a common goal, nothing can stop us!
If you could magically improve one aspect of the local economy overnight, what would it be and why?
I would create some way for people to be better informed about all the great events and opportunities we have in our community.

Molly has a soft spot for cows and often jokes about convincing her husband to let her have one as a pet.
