In 2018, four organizations came together with a shared belief that unity and collaboration could create lasting prosperity across the Topeka community.
The organizations maintain their individual managers and boards, as well as becoming the founding organizations of the Greater Topeka Partnership. Molly Howey, serves as the President and CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership. The Partnership is governed by one chair and chair-elect from each organization and seven community elected members. Together, the organizations focus on Momentum 2022, an economic development plan for Topeka & Shawnee County.
MOMENTUM 2027
Momentum 2027 is a five-year strategic plan designed to build on past successes, accelerate economic growth, and create opportunity for all. Building on the foundation of Momentum 2022, the plan leverages strong community partnerships to launch new initiatives, expand ongoing efforts, and drive inclusive, equitable prosperity across Greater Topeka—powered by the collaboration of businesses, organizations, and community leaders.
