The Greater Topeka Partnership and Lincoln Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce tickets are now on sale for the communities’ collaborative intercity visit to Boise, Idaho, coming up July 16-19, 2024.

The unique trip—a joint effort that aims to unite community leaders and passionate stakeholders from both cities—promises to foster a spirit of partnership and collaboration, as attendees learn from the vibrant, forward-thinking Boise. The intercity visit will provide participants with special networking opportunities, thoughtful programming, insightful discussions, and a chance to explore Boise’s thriving community core.

“We are thrilled to embark on this intercity visit, alongside our counterparts in Lincoln,” said Matt Pivarnik, CEO of the Topeka Partnership. “Together, we chose Boise because of the many existing parallels between Idaho’s capital and our capital cities. Boise is known for its riverfront development, arts district, business innovation, and placemaking, and we look forward to getting an on-the-ground perspective while learning more about Boise’s achievements. This year’s intercity visit represents a significant step forward in enhancing the economic vitality of both Topeka and Lincoln.”

“Collaboration is key to the success of any community,” said Jason Ball, CEO of the Lincoln Chamber. “This joint intercity visit to Boise provides us a valuable opportunity to build connections, share best practices, and explore avenues for future economic development. I know there will be a lot to learn and many innovative ideas to take home. We encourage businesses, community leaders, elected officials, and involved residents from both Lincoln and Topeka to join us on this enriching journey.”
