Greater Topeka Partnership Ambassadors

Are you a energetic professional seeking to strengthen ties to Greater Topeka Partnership and by extension the greater business community of Northeast Kansas? Consider becoming a Partnership Ambassador. Ambassadors are at the heart and soul of the GTP volunteer program and an integral part of the overall operation. Ambassadors’ primary goals are to foster relationships with new and existing members. They act as an extension of the Partnership and give us the ability to reach a wider variety of members. The support of the ambassadors is invaluable to member onboarding and retainment. Ambassadors attend GTP events to support member businesses including ribbon cuttings, power breakfasts, Business Unwind and other special events. They are also provided with additional volunteer opportunities such as conference registrations, event help, and other things that wouldn’t be possible without the support of our volunteers.

Volunteer Benefits

As Ambassadors are heavily involved in many of the GTP’s networking events, they have numerous opportunities to connect with other Partnership members. Ambassadors are able to represent their business both in person and through Partnership promotional materials. All Ambassador company logos are featured in ribbon cutting videos which are produced for every ribbon cutting ceremony.

Ambassadors are also recognized monthly, quarterly and yearly through an earned point system. Points are accrued by attending ribbon cuttings and assisting at special events. Additionally, Ambassadors who provide the most assistance to members through the mentorship program will also be recognized monthly, quarterly and yearly. The top 10% of Ambassadors who earn the most points for new memberships and membership renewals are included in the Chairman’s Club. In addition to the Ambassadors Recognition Program, Ambassador accomplishments are shared through the GTP’s social media and e-newsletter.

The Ambassadors make a difference every day through their interactions with other members of the GTP.  Training sessions and outlined expectations are provided to Ambassadors upon admittance to the group.
