How does your role contribute to the organization's efforts to improve the local economy?

As an economic advisor, I can contribute to an organization’s efforts to improve the local economy by providing strategic advice, analyzing data, assisting with program creation and implementation, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders. This helps to ensure that investments and initiatives are well-informed, effective, and beneficial to the entire community.

If you could magically improve one aspect of the local economy overnight, what would it be and why?

If I could magically improve one aspect of the local economy overnight, it would be Topeka’s Nightlife Scene! It would be great for all ages and then people wouldn’t feel the need to leave the city to satisfy those needs.

What's your go-to recommendation for a fun, affordable activity or event in the local area that also supports the local economy?

If you’re looking for a fun and exciting event to attend in Topeka, I highly recommend coming to Washburn University’s football games. The Washburn Ichabods have a long and proud tradition of excellence in football, and their games offer a thrilling and engaging experience for fans of all ages.
