With over 330 employees, our roots in northeast Kansas run deep. We’re proud to be part of an organization like the Greater Topeka Partnership, whose members and leadership are forward-thinking, and committed to learning, living, and thriving together in Topeka.
The GTP has been a major part of my network for more than a decade. I so believe in its power of networking that I have served on various Boards and leadership roles. When i opened my new consulting business, Only Tens LLC, it was an easy decision to invest in my next step.
We knew we wanted to grow strong business relationships in vibrant, energetic Topeka—and the Greater Topeka Partnership has helped make it possible. Their team is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us build meaningful connections within the local business community.
With over 20 years at Express, the most rewarding part of my journey has always been helping people find meaningful work that supports their families. Now, I’m thrilled to bring that same passion and experience to the Topeka market—partnering with local businesses to build strong teams and stronger communities. Together, we can create opportunities that make a lasting impact.

As a new business owner in Topeka, joining the Greater Topeka Partnership was one of the best early decisions I made. The genuine support, guidance, and connections from Jessica Horton and Christen Woods helped me move forward with confidence and clarity.
Being a newer member of the GTP I haven’t had the opportunity to see everything happening with our city. I do know as a second generation veteran owned small business owner that our locally owned businesses continue to be the backbone of our community. Whether it’s helping out local sports teams or charities that help our fellow Topekans and their families, the locally owned businesses of Topeka are an integral part of the current and future development of our city.
Ensuring that Topeka remains a vibrant place for our families and employees to live, work, play, and stay is a vital part of strengthening our community. That commitment to building a better Topeka is why I chose to get involved with projects like Momentum 2027, the Riverfront Advisory Council and the Link Innovation Center.
[Being involved in the Partnership] has given me the opportunity to make connections with people in our community that I may never have had the chance to meet. I get the chance to learn what their passions are for their business and in many cases I get to help them tell their story. And that's what I love to do.
