The Greater Topeka Partnership is excited to announce its 2024 Annual Meeting, themed “Totally Topeka,” is scheduled for Thursday, April 4. This year’s event will take place at West Ridge Mall, offering a memorable celebration of Topeka’s past and future.
The 80’s themed experience promises a bit of nostalgia, alongside exceptional food, entertainment, and programming. Taking the event to new heights this year, The Partnership proudly announces 1980’s pop superstar Tiffany as the event’s musical guest. Tiffany, known for her Billboard No. 1 hit “I Think We’re Alone Now,” will take attendees on a trip down memory lane with her iconic mall-era tunes.
“We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Tiffany to Topeka and West Ridge Mall,” said John Koop, vice president of events and resource development for the GTP. “As we highlight the impact of West Ridge Mall on Topeka over the years, we are thrilled to have Tiffany perform and remind people of the music of the 1980s mall-boom era. Her songs are going to be the perfect way to round out important discussions we’ll facilitate about the future of this important community asset.”
Annual Meeting programming will also include a panel discussion featuring Topeka Mayor Michael Padilla, Advisors Excel co-founder Cody Foster, GO Topeka president Molly Howey, and Visit Topeka president Sean Dixon. The group will engage in conversation about key redevelopment projects shaping the city’s future and provide insight on exciting economic development efforts to come.
“I am eager to welcome our community members, business leaders and elected officials to West Ridge Mall this year for The Partnership’s 2024 Annual Meeting,” said GTP CEO Matt Pivarnik. “The Topeka area is transforming each day with new confidence and investment. The redevelopment of West Ridge Mall represents another bold step our community is taking to build a better Topeka/Shawnee County for generations to come. I can’t think of a more perfect location at this moment in time to celebrate our wins and dream about what the future holds.”
