GTP Members' Golf Championship - Greater Topeka Partnership

Golf, networking, and community! This event includes a round of golf, breakfast, lunch, and awards reception. The golf tournament is open to all Greater Topeka Partnership members and is both a great time and a great networking opportunity for businesses in Topeka & Shawnee County.

FAQ:

“What skill level is required?”

The tournament will follow a 4-man scramble format, so golfers of all abilities are welcome. This means that the team plays each shot from the best position of the previous shots.

“What is the schedule?”

The morning round begins at 8am, and you can arrive as early as 7am to enjoy breakfast and networking. After the golf tournament, participants will enjoy lunch and an awards reception.

“Can a team member participate without actually golfing?”

Not a golfer? No problem! Opportunities to sponsor or participate in on-course activities are available to showcase your businesses — it’s a day of networking, celebration, and community.

The 4-man scramble format also ensures that teams with a mix of golfers and non-golfers are still competitive.

“Will there be networking opportunities?”

It wouldn’t be a Greater Topeka Partnership event without networking! Come ready to make connections and participate in some fun and creative activities that will help you build relationships with other GTP members.

“What types of sponsorships are available?”

Members can sponsor the event at a variety of levels, including $500 “Activity Hole” sponsors that can adopt a hole to set up a game or booth and engage with teams as they play. For more information about sponsorships, please contact Ashlee Spring, Vice President of Resource Development.

“It’s called a ‘Championship’. Does that mean you’re keeping score?”

Absolutely! All types of participation – and skill levels – are welcome to come participate in the fun throughout the day. However, if you are a competitive player, there will be an awards reception, complete with bragging rights for the next year.
