We’ve all heard it before, sometimes in life the stuff we own begins to own us. Clutter happens and when it does your space’s functionality often begins to suffer. So before you fall into “clutter depression anxiety cycle,” call NEAT Method Kansas City. NEAT Method KC is a lifestyle service committed to providing a more luxurious and smartly appointed living space. Owner and professional organizer Celsie Sneden will not only transform and organize your space but will also provide you with helpful tips and tricks to successfully maintain your neat method.
Celsie had a unique introduction into world of professional organizing. A Topeka native, she earned her degree in Theatre from Washburn University before moving to Chicago to pursue a career in acting and improv. Celsie had never known of the phrase “professional organizing” until she heard it described in a monologue. “I knew at once that I wanted to make a career out of it,” she says, “I’ve always organized when I was stressed and consider myself very spatially aware.” Celsie started organizing professionally in Chicago with NEAT Method. Soon she felt confident that she could open her own branch; and after researching the market in Kansas City, Celsie set her sights back on the Midwest. In 2017, NEAT Method Kansas City was born.
NEAT Method KC’s focus is maximizing the function of your space. The process begins with a consultation and estimate. From this consultation, Celsie will create customized organizing systems according to your lifestyle. For example, in a household with small children a system for “Grab & Go” snacks in the pantry will be set up, or, if you’re a coffee lover, a personalized “coffee station” will be established. In setting up long term organizational systems, Celsie and her team will ensure that your investment is maintainable and long-lasting. Specializing in moves and re-locations, Celsie and her fellow organizers will unpack your belongings, maximizing space and items. Taking donations, trash removal and recycling is included in their services, as well as one-on-one filing.
Whether you’re downsizing, moving, relocating or simply need to reevaluate your organizing methods, NEAT Method KC can help you make the most of your space and give you the resources to live a neat lifestyle.

TIPS, TRICKS & Things to Think about, from Celsie
TIP: The start of school is a great time to switch your kid’s clothes out from spring/summer to fall/winter.
TIP: Label, Label, Label! We love labels and it is a great way to keep things NEAT.
TRICK: Having two bins/baskets in a child’s closet, one for clothes they have grown out of and one for clothes they will grow into. This system gives the items they grow out of a place to go throughout the year versus filling up the dresser drawers unnecessarily.
Something to think about: Kids grow out of more than just clothes. Consider “growing up” their books (a few new books at the next level of difficulty) at the same rate that they grow into a new, bigger size of clothing.
NEAT Method’s motto is: “We believe that once your life is clutter free and rearranged, you will have a new appreciation for the importance of living NEAT.”
