The Topeka Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council would like to announce the launch of its Buy Local Campaign and Small Business Summit.
Small Business Council to Launch a Buy Local Campaign – Local spending plays a critical role in the development of communities. It fuels growth, support businesses, creates jobs and builds the local tax base. As a result, the more money circulating in the local economy means more public infrastructure completed and community projects fulfilled. The Small Business Council will be launching a Buy Local Campaign for Topeka and Shawnee County in July. Don’t wait until July – let’s start now.
Stop-Think-Buy Local.
What are some of the Chamber committees and task forces I can join?
Small Business Summit – Investing in Shawnee County’s small businesses is critical. When small businesses thrive, the community is the benefactor. To start, grow and sustain these businesses, the Small Business Council will be hosting a Small Business Summit to unveil innovative ideas that will help in their day to day operations. The Summit will take place in September.
The Topeka Chamber’s Small Business Council meets regularly to discuss opportunities and issues that benefit Partnership members and the community. The council seeks to spread awareness of the crucial role small businesses play in enhancing the local economy and community’s quality of life.
