TOTALLY TOPEKA
The Greater Topeka Partnership is going “Totally Topeka” in 2024 with our annual meeting celebration on April 4th! This year we are taking over West Ridge Mall, with an exciting celebration of Topeka’s past and future. This 80’s themed experience will feature amazing food, music, and a panel conversation that includes Topeka Mayor Mike Padilla, Advisor’s Excel co-founder Cody Foster, Molly Howey the GO Topeka President, and Sean Dixon the Visit Topeka President about key redevelopment projects that are occurring across the city.
"I am eager to welcome our community members, business leaders and elected officials to West Ridge Mall this year for The Partnership’s 2024 Annual Meeting. The Topeka area is transforming each day with new confidence and investment. The redevelopment of West Ridge Mall represents another bold step our community is taking to build a better Topeka/Shawnee County for generations to come. I can’t think of a more perfect location at this moment in time to celebrate our wins and dream about what the future holds.."
Matt Pivarnik, CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership
Guests this year will hear from the Greater Topeka Partnership Chair, Dr. Shekhar Challa, CEO Partnership Matt Pivarnik, Community Revitalization panelists, and more!
To make this celebration even more special, the Greater Topeka Partnership is excited to announce a very special musical guest for this year’s event. 1980’s pop superstar Tiffany will perform for attendees! Tiffany is a former teen icon that broke onto the music scene in 1987 with her Billboard number one hit “I Think We’re Alone Now”. Her “Beautiful You: Celebrating The Good Life Shopping Mall Tour” took America by storm in the 80’s and showcased the importance mall’s had on the cultural landscape.
Tiffany!!
“We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Tiffany to Topeka and West Ridge Mall. As we highlight the impact of West Ridge Mall on Topeka over the years, we are thrilled to have Tiffany perform and remind people of the music of the 1980s mall-boom era. Her songs are going to be the perfect way to round out important discussions we’ll facilitate about the future of this important community asset.”
John Koop, Vice President of Resource Development and Events for the Greater Topeka Partnership
